      The printed instructions are a victim of copy/paste. After page 270, it goes back to 239. Would seem the pieces are missing, it is because the pasted is the wrong wing. However, the digital version is correct and I was able to finish the model. Also, in Bag five there are four pieces missing, but I have enough "left over" pieces from other models I was able to substitute. If this is your first Lego Star Wars model, you will need to order the four replacements, it is easy and free on lego.build/missing website.

      This is a very super detailed set that was a blast to put together. Make sure you got room to display it because it will come out taking up a decent amount of shelf space. Only concern is that some of the outer panels aren't secured the best to its internal frame so they can be bumped off, thus making this a set not meant to be handled a lot. However it is great to look at a see it's awesome detail. Like all Lego sets, it's a bit on the pricy side but worth it if your a Star Wars fan.

      I’m a 58 year old woman who obsesses over Star Wars Legos. I have built a large number of sets. This is by far the worst set I’ve ever tried to build! Every time I put a piece on, two others fall off. Not only is this set a nightmare for me, but the cockpit top wasn’t in the box. For your own sanity, don’t buy this set.

      The build quality on this was very good. For an Ultimate Collector Edition I found it lacking in detail for the cockpit. There are very few details and control surfaces. The set was missing a few pieces as well. The model's connections are pretty decent so it won't crumble in your hands, and there are few pieces that can pop off from an errant graze of the hand. The stand is sturdy and the wings are built very nicely. It has no trouble expanding and collapsing. The value is decent. It is probably the best x wing model available. It makes for an excellent display piece.
