    This was a great set for our 4 year old. The build quality is excellent and is great for young kids (alongside their parents) to build. We love the fact that the truck bed actually lowers like a real tow truck to allow the car to ride up the ramp. The ramp is big enough that other Lego City cars do fit on the truck making the truck almost a universal tow truck for other cars you may have built. Definitely recommend!

      Not a fan of the green and pink color scheme, but it actually doesn't look bad, especially mixed in with the grey. Minifigure for the truck has an ugly hat with no alternative look, so will swap that out for a different look using spares from other sets. They have the race car driver as a woman which is a turn off, so will swap her out as well for a male minifig. Her hair piece is ugly as well. Like that there's technics included in the build and that the trailer lifts and tilts for the car to drive on and off. Would have preferred the trailer bed to be a bit longer as the car barely fits on it which means speed champions builds probably won't fit on it, so will need a modified design for that. But overall its a lovely set and will make for great play time for kids. I think this will go well with the custom car garage and the new junkyard sets.

      Right out of the box, the set was well organized, with easy to follow instructions that made building a fun activity for my grandson.

      The car carrier truck itself is quite impressive. The adjustable loading ramp is a fantastic feature that adds a nice touch to the play experience. The ramp allows for smooth loading and unloading of the race car, which my grandson loves to do over and over. It's great for developing fine motor skills as he manouvers the pieces.
