The Tesla Pi Phone has become a huge rumour in the tech industry. Here’s everything you need to know.
Stunning Clarity: High-Resolution OLED with Smooth 120Hz Refresh
The new Tesla phone features a 6.73-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels. It is rumoured to feature a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a pixel density of 458 PPI. The gadget will have an oleophobic coating and a scratch-resistant glass.
Cutting-Edge Camera System with Advanced Night Vision Capabilities:
The phone will have three separate cameras, each with a 50 megapixel resolution on the back of the phone. It is believed that it will include a punch-hole-style camera with 40 megapixels in resolution. One good thing about the camera is that it is rumoured to have an Astrophotography mode, which features advanced night-sky imaging capabilities. possibly enhanced by SpaceX tech, making it ideal for low-light and cosmic photography. One drawback about the camera is that it is unverified, as the phone hasn’t been released or tested in real-world conditions.
Tesla’s Custom Chipset and Lightning-Fast Storage
Tesla is rumoured to have created a custom chipset named Tesla Gen3 to optimise the Pi Phone’s processing capabilities. The device is expected to feature a Tesla-designed GPU and utilise NVMe storage for faster data transfer. A good thing about Tesla’s custom Gen3 chip and NVMe storage is their promise of blazing-fast, optimised performance, but without real-world testing, their actual reliability and stability remain uncertain.
Power That Keeps You Going: Fast, Wireless, and Solar Charging:
The Tesla Pi phone is speculated to have a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging, reaching 50% charge in just about 12 minutes. It may also support 20W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and possibly solar charging, although the solar charging feature has not been officially confirmed.
*Please note that these features are based on rumours and unofficial reports, as Tesla has not yet confirmed the specifications or release details of the Pi Phone.
